Matthew P. Fitzsimmons, J.D., B.A.
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Attorney Matthew P. Fitzsimmons
is a lawyer with a passionate, results-driven approach to the practice
of law. By his education and experience, Attorney Fitzsimmons provides
a wide range of legal services to clients in Boston and throughout southeastern Massachusetts. Attorney Fitzsimmons is committed to providing clients with legal advice and professional counseling, and approaches each client with a focus on integrity, advocacy, and understanding.
Attorney Fitzsimmons graduated from New
England Law | Boston with a J.D. degree in
2009, and graduated from Boston University with a B.A.
degree in Political Science in 2005. Attorney Fitzsimmons participates as a mentor for
third-year students at New England Law, and serves annually as a moot court judge for second-year New England Law student trials. Attorney Fitzsimmons also served as a judge for the American Bar Association's Regional Negotiation Competition held at Harvard Law School in November 2010, and as a judge for the ABA's Regional Appellate Advocacy Competition held at Boston Municipal Court in March 2011.
Attorney FItzsimmons is
a Sponsor Member of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, and is an
active member in the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar
Association. Attorney Fitzsimmons currently participates in the Boston Bar Association's New Lawyers
Section and Solo & Small Firm Section steering committee meetings.
A lifelong avid sailor, Matthew volunteers time throughout the year to
support the youth sailing program of the Bass River Yacht Club, an
organization where he taught sailing and coached One Design dinghy
racing for eight years.
